COCHRANE, Heather….

Peacefully at home on Sunday, August 25, 2019, Ms. Heather Joanne Cochrane of Union, Ontario. Dearly loved wife of Ron Taylor for 27 years. Beloved mother of the late Kristin Erin Katoen. Daughter of the late Thelma and Douglas Cochrane. Sister-in-law of Jim (Rose) Taylor of London and Jean (Mark) Erstling of Huntington Beach, California. She was a wonderful and much-loved aunt to several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many life-long friends.

A career public servant, Heather worked in Baker Lake and Rankin Inlet for the government of the Northwest Territories as well as a senior manager in the Ministry of Housing and the Attorney General's office for the Province of Ontario. With a strong belief in community service, Heather was a long-time leader for the Girl Guides and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. In retirement, Heather was a keen gardener and a talented interior designer.
 
A private interment took place at Woodland Cemetery, London. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Riverside United Church, 695 Riverside Drive, London.
