Joanne Rick Mary Jo and the Mawdsley family:
I was so sad to read about Jack’s death. I have many fond memories of being your family babysitter for many years. I especially remember the many Christmas Eves I stayed with the children while you and Jack attended the Christmas Eve midnight services at St. Peter’s Anglican Church and being included with your family in your after celebration. May Jack Rest In Peace and may God Bless your family.
Sincere Sympathy
Shelley McKeen

I will always remember Jack and Joanne in their royal blue choir robes at St. Peter’s in Dorchester. Jack was a man of deep faith and incredible duty for service. May he rest in peace, his memory always a blessing.

Dear Joanne and family, we’re so very sorry to hear of Jack’s passing, and send our sincere condolences and sympathies to you all. I have so many fond memories of times with the “76-ers”, and I know my parents always cherished your friendship. Surely they were among the “greeting committee” for Jack, in heaven.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was my Math teacher at H B Beal SS in 1974-1975. I was always terrible at math and absolutely hated it. (Give me Arts and English any day.) Your Dad was alway so patient and kind with me, trying to explain the concepts and how to apply them, so it would make sense to me. I skipped a lot of classes, because of my frustration with the subject. I was graduating from grade 12 that year and your Dad could have failed me and made it so I did not graduate, but he didn't. I never forgot that and always very much appreciated his benevolence.
