I met Mrs. Baeker several times in various settings when she was in the company of Ross Fuller.
She was elegant, lovely and kind.
My sympathy to all family on this loss.

June was like a second mother to me. As Greg's friend, she always made me feel like a member of the family. I will greatly miss June, her thoughtful letters and meals that never failed to include an amazing jelly salad. You are in my heart forever. My thoughts are with Greg, Marcia, Jeff and Heather. All my love,
Ron

Condolences to Marcia, siblings, family and friends. Your mother was truly an eloquent, loving woman. I remember her working in your gardens when Reid and I were your neighbours. May you find lasting peace in your very fond memories of a life lived to the fullest. Love and prayers always

I met June in a school in London when I was attending a teacher meeting. It was ironical because I actually made her acquaintance before I met and married her nephew, Ken. She was so kind and friendly to me, a shy beginning teacher, and I would have been delighted if we could have been closer. Anyway, our condolences to all June's family. God bless you all.

Sorry for your Heartache . May she now rest in peace. Over the years my visits with June always included some good belly laughs (usually at my expense) and those I will always cherish. Blessings for Marcia, Greg, Jeff & Heather Respectfully

Dearest Marcia and Family,
We wish you peace and the comfort of knowing you’ll now have the most gracious and beautiful angel to watch over you. June was grace personified and truly unforgettable in her lovely ways. A fine example to all , including me since a young teen, she will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew her.

I was privileged to know June during my time in ministry at Colborne Street United Church. June was a lovely inside as she was on the outside... always so pleasant and kind. June was one of my 'bus ladies' faithfully riding the bus to church each week. Her faith shone through all that she did.

"Isn't She Lovely" best describes June Baeker....always impeccably presented, and a lovely, loving , genuine person....every student who had the opportunity to have Mrs. Baeker as their teacher/mentor was so very lucky.
To the family, I send heartfelt sympathy - she will be missed.

June & George Baeker gave a home to my husband Al Ellinson when he was a 26 year old immigrant from Britain in 1954 until he found employment and established his own home. I arrived with our two children three months later and our friendship with June and George continued. Along with your physical beauty June, you had a kind and loving soul. Rest in peace.

That was a lovely service. I sang in the Empress choir with June for more than 10 years, and at Colborne until she retired. I loved the hymns in the prelude and service: they reminded me so much of her! There were times at Empress when June and I were the only altos. If she happened to be away for a Thursday, I would suddenly discover that I can't sing: I was just listening really hard to June, who was always on the right note at the right time. She was always laughing and telling jokes, and always had a hug for me when we met at church. I miss her.
