I met Midge when we were both in high school. When I think of her she is wearing a great smile. Thinking of Maris and his children during this difficult period.

Wednesdays in the winter during high school....Midge would pull up in her Mustang and off we’d go to the ‘Byron Bump’ skiing. I can’t remember anyone with a more generous spirit. I loved hangin’ w Midge...drinking coffee, smokin’ cigarettes and laughing at everything. So long old friend...I’ll miss you ??

Being one of the oldest grandchildren of such a big clan (daughter of Jim, the oldest of 10), I have so many fond memories including “aunt” Midge esp at our many family reunions.. She was always grinning and so kind & patient with all the little ones. She’ll be greatly missed. ??????????

à bientôt, auntie Midge. Poorer are we who have to wait to see you again??
It really makes me smile when I remember Midge’s infectious and mischievous smile, and sometimes a giggle, most often delivered immediately following one of her lightening fast-witted quips, observations, or comments. Unequalled. I also have her to thank for my intro to the Guess Who & Janice Joplin, which always has and will remind me of Midge.
Cousins Marika, Marty, and Dagan: I hope you guys are all OK, and pulling together for strength. Your Mom’s spirit is now truly free and happy, and continues to bless us all.

Being the two youngest of 10 Midge and I were always together growing up. She always loved and stuck up for me. I could not be more proud of Midge these last six years, never complaining, always smiling in terrifying circumstances. She fought hard. She will be in my heart every day until I see her again in Heaven.

Fine memories going back to the high school daze. Afternoons at her family's pool, thumbing rides to camp out on Beausoleil, and New Years at the farm. I will remember Midge as a fun loving and kind hearted old friend. My condolences to Midge's family.

Sending love and light to Midge, after she showed immense strength these past years. It is a horrible feeling to not be able to be honouring her memory and being there to support those she left behind in person, but hoping we can be together soon to give comfort and celebrate the life she lived. For the time being: a prayer in her name, a candle lit, and love sent from a distance.
