Hello David,
I was so sorry to hear that your dad had passed away. My sincere condolences to you David and all of your family. Your dad was a consonant funeral director, always eager to help anyone. He earned the respect of so many clergy and colleagues in the funeral industry, not to mention his many many friends. Your dad worked so hard in his business and throughout the Masonic Order. It was easy to see that he had two homes away from home. I know fully well that your dad served every family as if they were part of his family. Now David it's up to you to carry on the Legacy that your dad built with the A. Millard George Funeral Home. I think he has taught you well David.
If you would like any help with the visitation on Wednesday evening or in any other capacity David, please call me.

Rev. June Hough
(Tuesday, December 15, 2020)

I had done many funeral services with Paul early in my ministry. I moved away for 15 years then returned to London. I was having lunch at the Bungalow with a colleague and Paul stopped to speak with us and remembered who I was, telling me it was so good to see me again. We chatted, I said it was good to see him, and he left. When we had finished our meal and asked for the check we were told Paul had paid for it. (That was about 12 years ago)He was a kind, generous man. Am sad to know he struggled with dementia...for him and those who loved him...blessings.

Brian Felker
(Thursday, December 17, 2020)

I was saddened to hear of Paul’s passing. After my retirement from another field, I worked with Paul on a part-time basis for five years. I quickly came to respect and admire his business and personal skills. He was the consummate funeral director who always demanded perfection from himself and his staff. He put each family’s needs as the top priority each and every time. I witnessed one day when he heard that a family’s expectation had been different from what they had experienced, he immediately dropped everything and drove to the family’s house and made arrangements, face to face, to make it right. His own flawless attention to detail was expected from all his staff. It was a high bar to meet. The funeral profession has lost a truly great example of commitment and dedication to every facet of the funeral business. I am so glad that I had the great fortune to have worked with him.

Paul was the son that my father never had. He and my father at times had different ideas but they always respected each other. I am truly sorry that Paul passed away but I am glad that the Funeral Home is still a family business.

Out of respect for Paul I wish to say that I considered him a friend.

I got to know him through Selected [ NSM ] and found him to be
kind, quiet and a contributor. Once we had a meeting in London
and he proudly and graciously hosted us at his Temple.

But I will always remember doing me a favour for my daughter
when she was accepted at Western. Without any hesitation he
stepped up to the plate. I will always be grateful to him.

What a horrible situation for he and his family to experience
his medical condition. We never know what’s going to be handed
to us.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to express my thoughts.
