He made me feel so welcome when I came to Riverside Choir. We collaborated in singing Gospel Quartet music and both had a lot of fun doing it!
He enjoyed 'stirring things up' and brought humour to everyone's lives. I know that I am not alone in feeling a huge loss with Norm's passing!
Condolences to Anne, David, Nancy and the rest of the family.

We are so very, very sorry to hear of Norm’s sudden and unexpected passing.
Norm will be missed by all of his friends at Riverside United Church.
We could tell that he loved to sing In our church choir because he always looked so happy on Sunday mornings sitting up front in the choir loft.
We will miss his quirky sense of humour. We will miss his always friendly greetings and our conversations after church.
Norm will be missed.
We send love and lots of hugs to Anne, Sarah, David and Nancy and the rest of his family.

I was on Facebook today...which I rarely am...replied to Norm...he wanted to know why I called him my BBB. Bygone Bunker Buddy. We worked on a project at Nortel together in 2001, literally paired in the same cube space in MN. I remember him smiling as he test drove my new Miata in Jersey too. Fun times that we really needed post 9-11 events. Miss you already my BBB.

(Friday, September 4, 2020)

Dear Anna and Family: we greatly regretted noting the passing of friend Norman in the Free Press today. I have fond memories of our singing together in the Forest City Singers and in our rides together for rehearsals. Norm
enjoyed hassling me, a clergyman, which was really in good fun and fellowship. Norm had a keen ability to shock people and ask questions many would not ask! But I knew his heart was always right and his intentions humorous only. I also can add thanks that Norm rescued me from many computer problems in the cyber world.
I have thought about him many times and sorrow at his passing.
Now he can sing baritone in the
heavenly choir! We have, and will continue, to give to the heart and stroke foundation. God bless, Anna and family and little Ricky! We will remember you an Norm tonight in our prayers. (Rev) Les and Winn Files.
