My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Bob and I always thought a great deal of the Tuckeys and still do, and enjoyed chatting with Don in the store many times.

My parents Alfred and Winifred Onions owned Kensal Park Home Hardware and were good friends with Don, they were members of the initial Board of Directors for Home Hardware in St. Jacobs. Tuckey Home Hardware was a family owned business that operated on integrity and valued it’s costumer clientele with upmost value. This is a reflection of the work ethic, dedication and values of this kind hearted family. Sincere condolences to the Tuckey family on Don’s passing, he was a genuine legacy in both business and family.

It is with sadness that I offer my condolences on Don's passing. My parents, Stu & Joey McBride, were, with Don & Eleanor, members of both a strong church and social community.

Dear Dave and Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Don, as you well know, was a star and champion of the community and although I did not him as a fellow Mason, I'm sure he was there as well.
Again, my deepest condolences.

Barb, Ken, David and your families, please accept my condolences for your loss. It has been many years since living on Elworthy, but I remember growing up a few houses down, back in the day when we spent more time outside than inside.

Sorry to hear of the sad news of Don’s passing. At least he will be at peace. How long was he in the hospital? I tried to get you on July 1st but maybe no one was there because of his illness. I have so many wonderful memories. My good friends Shannon and Wendell are putting this online. I change nursing homes tomorrow. I will be thinking of you and joining you in prayer. My heart is with you. We certainly have wonderful memories up at the cottage. With all my love and blessings, may God give you strength to accept all these sad losses. God be with you. May he give you peace and healing. With love Marj.

Barb, Ken & Dave - it was great to see you all tonight - albeit the occasion. Don was a pillar/pioneer in Old South and Wortley Village. His presence will be missed. What a great legacy he has left for you all. He is happy to be with Eleanor now, in his forever home. God Bless.

I was saddened to learn of Don’s passing. Through our association with Home Hardware, we had known each other for years.
Don was a charming man. His own involvement and his family business’ support of the local community made the community that much stronger.

I worked for a few Home Hardware stores in the London area and it was my great pleasure to know Don and his son Dave during that time. Don was a man of great knowledge, experience and kindness. He will be greatly missed by the community at large and the many customers he called "friend".

Don was a great friend of my parents, sister and me for many years. His intelligence and sense of humour always were always in evidence when the gang got together to play euchre or travel. Many funny memories involving magic and toothbrushes will be cherished. A life well lived.

Our prayers and thoughts go out to the family. Don was a great contributor to the growth of Home Hardware and always gave freely of his time to help the Company . I recall when he used to come to St Jacobs Christmas staff party and do his magic. Dave as you know he was a real people person. He will be missed but remember all the good times.

Dave and family,
My father passed on just a few months ago (he was 95). Even though we've been blest to have our dads for so long, and we know they're in a better place, the absence is profoundly felt.
Prayers and condolences.

We were sad to hear the passing of such a sweet man. He always had a smile on his face and I still remember when he entertained the kids with magic in Sunday school. My children adopted one of his “magical” baby bunnies and “Babe” is still going strong. That was 15 years ago. Our condolences go out to the family. Thank you Don for all the smiles and happiness you gave to all.
