When I look at your picture, I realize what a courageous and selfless women you are. I miss you, and my heart aches, I wish I could have "5 more minutes" ,Then I realize its my turn to be selfless as I know your dancing and reminising with everyone since you healed and whole again. We are gonna have such a good celebration for you, with you leading it all with the 1st dance. I love you Momma xo

Edith was like my second Mom since the early 70's. I remember her as one who loved her kids and loved to laugh. She will live on through memories that warm many hearts.

Dear Kelly & family,
We have occasionally passed by your home on our way to visit friends in St. Thomas and I always wondered how you and Edith were doing. She was a great supporter of mine when I took over for her at St. Stephen's and showed herself to be a wonderful friend. I am sorry to learn of her death. A bright light has gone out here on earth but she is shining brilliantly in heaven.

For 6 years I had the privilege of knowing Edith, and I was blessed, even though I was the one meant to encourage her.
Every single visit was worth it!
Her love for her children, and nature, and Walter....her keen sense of humour and her honesty, her love of life and her love for her God and her church.....she was so easy to love!! She was part of that "tough generation" we aren't seeing so much today, that breed that says today is a new day and I'll walk in it, no matter what comes.
I often wished I could have known Edith in her earlier life but I am just thankful that I knew her at all.
She is far better off now and would not want to come back.
Continuing to keep the family in our thoughts and prayers.
