My deepest sympathies to Joe's family. I had the honour of sharing the same uniform with Joe and worked out of the same station for a number of years. He was a sweet and gentle man and one whom I respected greatly. W.A.S. (Bill Simmons) Toronto Paramedic, retired.

I am sad to hear of Joe’s passing.
We crossed paths on the job many times over a lot of years and he was a genuinely good guy.
Heartfelt condolences to Joe’s family and friends.

I had the pleasure of meeting joe as a young Paramedic. He and Mike were great to me and over the years I enjoyed time with Joe on and off the job. He was a great guy and a great dad. He will be missed.
